Grant Application

The Grant Request Process

The Foundation's Mission is to enhance all aspects of academic endeavors for the students, faculty and administration at Booker T. Washington High School.

This list includes most of the information the

Grants Committee needs when evaluating your Request:
 

  • The specific amount of money you need 

  • Your objectives

  • How you will determine if you meet your objective

  • The number of students and/or teachers who will directly benefit from your Grant Request

  • The percentage of students benefiting from the Grant that receive free/reduced lunch

  • Documents such as quotes for supplies or services, product descriptions for out-of-the-ordinary purchases, provider information.  The more specifics you can provide, the easier it is for the Grants Committee to review your Request.

 

Select and complete the Grant Request Application that corresponds to the amount of funding you need.  Your grant must have the required signatures before it is submitted to the Committee.  

 

The Principal will submit your completed and signed Request Form to BTWFEapplication@gmail.com.

DOWNLOAD GRANT REQUEST FORM:

 You will be contacted shortly after the Board meets to vote on your Grant Request.  If we  approve your Grant, you will receive a Funds Request Form.  You need to return the form to Jayme.BTWFoundation@gmail.com.  The Foundation will disburse funds to the appropriate people shortly after receiving the form.

 

Please note the deadline and Foundation meeting dates to plan when to submit your Grant Request.  

 

Additional information:

  • A Committee representative might need to contact you for additional information or clarification after you submit your Grant Application.  

  • The Foundation might ask you to photograph students participating in activities or using equipment funded by your Grant to upload to the Foundation website or to post on social media

  • The Foundation might ask you to provide a written follow-up of the effectiveness of the funding you received
